WASHINGTON D.C. — Asian Pacific American Heritage Month was honored by Republican National Committee (RNC) in the United States in a statement released last week by RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

“Today we kick off Asian Pacific American Heritage Month to honor the history, traditions, and achievements of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States,” said Chairwoman McDaniel.  “Asian Americans are dedicated, hard workers and an important part of the fabric of our country and our economy.”

“We appreciate the contributions and sacrifices of Asian Pacific Americans in communities across our country—from those serving in our military to defend our freedoms, small business owners working hard to bolster our economy, to healthcare workers and volunteers stepping up to keep Americans safe.  Asian Pacific Americans have played an important role in U.S. history. This month we celebrate their past and present triumphs that continue to make America great.”
